Launching a bold inward investment and placemaking brand for a global audience.
Cast Can was appointed by Slough Borough Council to help reposition the town as a confident, outward facing investment destination. The challenge was to create a brand that felt credible at a global level, while remaining grounded in place, opportunity and ambition.
The work began with a high impact film designed to invite investors and stakeholders to meet Slough at UKREiiF 2025. From there, the brief evolved into a wider programme to define the Slough Is Now brand, articulate its positioning and bring it to life through a fully functioning digital platform and marketing framework.
This was about creating something instantly recognisable, contemporary and scalable, with the flexibility to grow over time.

Slough Is Now was conceived as more than a campaign. It is a long term placemaking and inward investment brand designed to shift perception and build confidence.
Our approach focused on clarity and momentum. Clear messaging. A strong visual system. Confident tone of voice. Film and content that could travel across channels and evolve with the strategy. Everything was designed to work together, from first impression to deeper engagement.
